Musical Programme 2068

Thank You God!

It was really a blessing time; it was really a challenging time. The time makes most of the participants under pressure & worry. Now, the time has passed away, that is gone; but that makes sense in every people in the hall – the participants, the leaders, & the mass. As a core leader, I’m proud to say “Thank You God!” & “Thank You My friends here in Itram Church, Surkhet”. I’m talking all about “Christian Musical Programme 2068” in Christian Itram Church, Surkhet.

“Christian Musical Programme 2068” is the first programme for me to manage the project without getting any other higher leadership support. It is the result of learning in my past. Past that I spent time in Sunday/SaniSchool both as a kid & as a leader, in Choir team & in Youth Fellowship at Naya Gaun Church (NGC), in Inderni Ministry as a kid & as a leader, in my school & in college (especially in Pokhara University). All these environment & surrounding nourished me to see this project successful.

I know the first day while Basanta suddenly organized a meeting to do this programme. At first it was like a joke. I felt so. Anyway we planned to do the programme. We selected the participants as much as possible. Then we started practicing.

On the very first day of practicing the new songs (which I was leading), my voice doesn’t came on scale. I thought that they may feel uncomfortable & may see impossibility to do such big programme. Most of the songs were new. Later I was able to teach them. Hanok, my frined/brother of NGC Pokhara from Jumla, worked as my right hand. He is such a blessing guy; as a true Christian, as a true brother in Christ; we together design the programme. Then we divide the programme in small batches. The batches themselves were managing their time for learning. I was in Choir as a main vocalist, in Skit as a role of satan, & in Choreography.

In between, various participants leave the group & new participants also joined the group/batch. I was worried about this; this may hamper us in our programme. So I was praying. And thank God, He helped us in this matter.

On Friday, before the Programme date scheduled; we (all the participants) gathered in Church. We worked together – decoration, cleaning, fencing for ticket checking, etc. On that day, I taught them about Team work. Then we did worshiping God, & that was really a blessing time, we became one in God. Most of them were revealing what God was showing in their heart. What a blessing time, the Holy Spirit touching time, the Holy Spirit leading time! Thank God!

The Day – Saturday, 4th of Asar 2068: I found my throat uncomfortable. Something was hindering there & I was worried whether I can sing a song or not! I took a hot water with salt & besar. I went to bazaar to buy a strapshil medicine but I couldn’t. At last I took random medicine & went to Church.

After Church service, we had planned to take snacks, later I knew someone has told the Didi bahini (Kitchen Team) no need to cook snacks. I was so hungry & worried about the programme. But my friend Prem provided glucose water & without having snacks, throat problem; we did great job. Thank You God! It’s you who helped us in our worse situation.

After the programme, we took a meal together. Then, I conducted a Programme Evaluation. Ps. Nabin told “It’s my pleasure to see this very first programme accomplished successfully in Church history. And I found it’s more than directing a film!” Amen.

I love children, I love to be with youth. I love to teach them about God, assist them, & encourage them to grow in faith. On the very first day in Birendranagar, Surkhet; I went to Sani School Fellowship in Itram Church. I called Nabo Dai to whom I never met before. I got his number from Ganga Aunty. I was totally hang out because of Long 18 hours of Bus ride from Pokhara.
I tried to manage myself. I had a dinner in restaurant then Nabo dai came to pick me into the Church. I went to Itram Church. I heard about the bound of IC with NGC, Pokhara. I went to upper flat & went into Sani School room. Lots of kids were there. I went to back, everyone was wondering about me. I had a long curly hair/noodles hair :), so one kid told me Hello in Korean, she thought I'm Korean :). Bina, one Teacher of Sani School was there & she told me to teach them something. So I taught them a new song, new action song, & new story about a old Christian man riding on a bus.
Now I'm taking regular class in Sani School as well as in Teenage Fellowship.
On 2nd September 2010, Thursday: Got appointment letter from ICO to work in ISP (INF Surkhet Programme) for three month as a Finance Assistant on daily wages basis. On Friday, heading towards Surkhet with Khim Giri, reached ISP on Saturday morning, met Narayan (NBK) Sir and Dr. Kamal. Dr. Kamal was just joined ISP one week before & staying in ISP guest house. He also from Rambazar, Pokhara :). We stayed together, later Dr. told me about his weak week; no friends, feeling alone, feeling cry,... I met Bimala (Physiotherapy Technisian) on Monday, my friend from Pokhara met in Protrac get together :). We met Prem there & became a friend of four; Me, Dr. Kamal, Bimala, & Prem.
